In addition to the ongoing educational activities in Berlin, the Association of Neuroesthetics and its mission has been presented in various talks. The AoN also plans to organize high-level international conferences, including associated publications, as well as events such as exhibitions, workshops, and symposia.

Conference of the Zentrum für Literatur- und Kulturforschung Berlin in cooperation with the Berlin School of Mind and Brain, Berliner Medizinhistorisches Museum of Charité, and the AoN.

June 4, 2009 – On invitation of Marino Golinelli Foundation and the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, Venice, AoN organized a round-table discussion on art and neuroscience at the library of the Peggy Guggenheim Collection with ca. 30 scientists and artists. The event was organized in collaboration with Ernst Schering Foundation.
February 10, 2009 – Quando l’arte incontra la scienza: contaminazioni, connessioni, sintesi fra arte e scienza. (When art meets science: contaminations, connections, and synthesis between art and science). Panel discussion at the Design and Art Museum, La Triennale di Milano: Journalist Giovanni Caprara in conversation with Marina Wallace (Director Global Eye Art, University of the Arts, London) and Alexander Abbushi (co-founder and director of the Association of Neuroesthetics). Conference organized by Fondazione Marino Golinelli, presenting a forthcoming program of activities in Bologna, La Scienza in Piazza, aimed at supporting exchanges between art and science.

2008October 23, 2008 – Anton Burdakov, Perceptions, Attention, and Architecture. Technische Universität Berlin (first step in the planned collaboration with TU Berlin, Architecture Department). May 8, 2008 – AoN Inaugural Event: On 8th May, 2008 the Association of Neuroesthetics is inaugurated in front of ca. 300 invited guests. The inauguration includes presentations by AoN founding members Christine Macel, Prof. Ernst Pöppel and Prof. Semir Zeki as well as AoN partner artist Olafur Eliasson and the architect Philippe Rahm. Among participants are leading neuroscientists of the Charité such as Prof. Karl Einhäupl (current CEO of Charité) and Prof. Peter Vajkoczy (Director of Neurosurgery), representatives of Berlin School of Mind and Brain, such as Prof. John-Dylan Haynes (Bernstein Center for Computational Neuroscience, Berlin), as well as numerous art historians and critics, gallerists and internationally acclaimed artists such as Angela Bullock, Thomas Demand, Daniel Knorr, Armin Linke, and Damián Ortega.
The inaugural event made it clear how intensive the dialogue between the disciplines already is, with presentations by renowned specialists
Following the symposium the guests were shown around the specialised library for Neuroesthetics, open to the public and located in the oldest historical part of the Charité.
