The Association of Neuroesthetics develops and supports interdisciplinary research projects, combining methodologies of different disciplines to enable new scientific and artistic solutions. This involves both the development of projects by AoN members as well as supporting selected external projects.

Collaboration with contemporary artists: Among initiated collaborations, at various stages of development, are those with Studio Olafur Eliasson, sound artist Florian Hecker, architect Philippe Rahm, and architect and author Markus Miessen.
